This Saturday WWF will be celebrating Global Tiger Day, so for the whole week leading up they will be sharing amazing tiger tales from around the world.
WWF put together a sneak peek of inspiring videos, images and stories from WWF’s tiger protector teams that are working to bring the biggest cat in the world back from the brink of extinction.
1. Meet Singye, an inspirational tiger protector from Bhutan.
Watch her story here:
2. WWF takes you on a tiger trek with amazing wildlife photographer, Andy Rouse, who is taking over WWF Instagram all week.
3. Make a date this Saturday to check WWF website for a special Global Tiger Day gallery, featuring incredible images of wild tigers in Bhutan caught on camera.
4. Over 15,000 WWF supporters have already signed WWF petition to help close tiger farms. Take action for tigers now and add your voice to stop tiger farming.
I also want to share with you this inspiring video about Hari Rani, a member of a community-based anti-poaching unit in Nepal. A brave young woman, Hari Rani is a guardian of her family and of the tigers that live in a critical habitat corridor that connects Nepal’s Bardia National Park with India’s Katerniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary.
